I originally hail from just north of Toronto, Canada, and currently work as head librarian at Branksome Hall Asia in Jeju, Korea. Previously, I’ve worked as a department leader, librarian, and classroom teacher in international and public schools in Japan and Canada. I’ve administered courses and taught students online, helped to steer a major school accreditation process and the development of a one-to-one Mac laptop environment, developed experiential and hands-on outdoor education, authored district-wide curriculum, and managed training systems as an officer in the Canadian Forces. I’ve researched and presented on technology in education, libraries, social studies education, social justice issues, and the interactions between online and physical learning spaces.
I’m an avid traveller, and enjoy exploring the world to further develop my passion for photography.
